Where you'll find our Healthcare Centre
Bentham is a fairly small place, so you should easily find us. Our wellbeing clinic is on Grasmere Drive, just along from the Medical Centre, close to the town centre and directly opposite the entrance to the free car park.
Our wellness clinic building is purpose-built, so we are confident you will find it an easy, comfortable, and welcoming place to come with all the facilities you will need for whatever therapy you are needing.
If you can’t find us, just ask a local and they’ll point you in the right direction

Inside Sole to Soul
Sole to Soul Bentham is a purpose built practice, meaning we built it with you in mind and with level access to make it easy for everyone to access our services. Also, our doors and ground floor toilet facilities are large enough to allow easy wheelchair access.
At the reception desk (which is Janet’s den) there are displays of products for sale. Here you will make future appointments and pay for your current treatment and any products. We also sell gift vouchers. We accept cards, cash, and cheques as well as payment by BACS.
There are two Podiatry/foot care surgeries and two Therapy rooms on this level. A low rise staircase takes you up to the first floor where there is a further Therapy room for quiet/talking therapies such as counseling, a second toilet, and a large room for classes, courses, and workshops with a kitchen area attached. Our healthcare professionals provide detailed guides and instructions to improve your health and wellbeing.

Foot Care, Health & Wellbeing all in one place
Our Services
Foot Care
We offer solutions to all sorts of problems from corns and calluses to thickened toe nails, from verrucae to fungal infections. We treat ingrowing toe nails, hammer toes, bunions, heel pain and plantar fasciitis.
In fact we can help with most foot conditions. And if the only problem you have is that you can no longer bend or see to look after your own feet – we can help with that too.
Acupuncture
The practice of acupuncture comes from traditional Chinese medicine. It uses very fine needles in specific points on your skin to rebalance your body’s energy, prompt your body to release natural chemicals, stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.
Acupuncture may also boost the effectiveness of fertility treatments by reducing stress and increasing blood flow to the ovaries.
Massage
Massage is a therapy that uses different kinds of physical contact such as stroking, kneading, warming, rolling and pressing of skin and muscles to relax, revive and heal your body. It can be used to help with a wide range of emotional and physical health problems.
Sometimes massage can focus on soothing muscle pain, at other times on increasing energy levels. It can aim to improve a specific physical condition or simply to help you relax. It makes you feel good in lots of ways and can have a positive effect on your whole body - your bones, your muscles, your heart, your skin, your breathing, digestion, and your mental health.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a type of massage usually on the feet but also on the hands where the foot (or hand) is viewed as a “map” of the body. The reflexologist simply works various points with their sensitive fingers, aiming to balance your body on all levels.
A session is deeply relaxing and in this relaxed state, with one to one attention and supportive touch your body’s own potential for wellbeing is enhanced.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the art of creating space for yourself - space to think, space to breathe, space between yourself and your reactions without judgment. It is more than just a practice. It brings awareness and caring into what you do - and it helps to cut down needless stress.
Anyone can do it and it does not require anyone to change their beliefs. Everyone can benefit and it’s easy to learn.

In a word yes! The practice has level access with wide doorways to accommodate wheelchair users. Most services are available on the ground floor, the only exception being the group sessions. There is a low-rise staircase to the first floor. There is a free car park across the road with a dropped kerb from the car park and another outside the practice.
Because our consultations and treatments vary so much, so do our prices. They range from £8 for some group sessions up to £60 for bespoke 1 to 1 services. Nail surgery on a single nail costs £250 and custom made orthoses are £350.
Generally, allow up to 1 hour for each Therapy appointment and up to 45 minutes for a Foot appointment. If this is going to be different, you will be advised when you book.
Janet, our receptionist, is here on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. She can book you a foot appointment with one of the foot care team, or reflexology, myofascial release massage, or healing with Marie. The other therapists book their own appointments and can be contacted directly. To contact them, go to our Contact page and contact the therapist that you need directly.
We are open from Monday to Friday, although we only have reception cover from 8.45 to 6.00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Outside of these times, you can either leave a message on the answerphone or send us an email.
